Video for Siren's Carcass "La Ballade De Tara Massacre"
Kooky Nuts Pop is now officially a trilogy. Summarising the three volumes so far: 77 tracks from 77 different artists spanning over significant number of music genres that would be hard to count yet enough to make these compilations unclassifiable under any single keyword.
The newest piece takes us on a crazy ride, beginning with the classic sounds of electro & acid by Fossa and Yallu Magic Orchestra (a side project of Pavan - the godfather of skweee), jolly retro trips by Yambabom and Morusque and a little rock song by Ergo Phizmiz. The easy listening tune delivered by Graham Kartna is followed by the works of cut-up maestros Jason Forrest and Native Cell. Plus the gabba force support from the young “wixapol generation” producer Mohrcore. Side B opens up with the genuine gimmicky sound design of Faxada which paves the way to the mutated footwork beats by Maciej Maciągowski and Darren Keen. The synth lovers should open their ears to the tracks by Arkadiusz Entropia (experimental), SAX, Sinsky (IDM) and Joxaren (skweee), while the chiptune lovers shall appreciate the songs by Jack Dump and Siren’s Carcass and the 16-bit videogame style composition from OxygenStar. Last but not least there is a sweet tribute track from Tep, a total dance weirdness from Libythth and the minimalistic space vocoder song recorded by Daftberk.
So much goodness for free? Yes!
However; I strongly encourage to make a physical contact with this music by purchasing a beautiful purple tape packaged in the super colourful artwork referencing both previous parts.
Many thanks to all the artists involved! It has been a great pleasure working with you!
